The Founder and Chairman of Soosaiya Peter Educational Trust, Dr. S. Peter is known for his yeoman service in the field of the education since 1997. Earlier to the establishment of the Institutions, he had been a successful entrepreneur in the Real Estate business, and had developed more than dozens of residential areas in and around Chennai. Dr. S. Peter had a deep rooted desire to elevate the standard of living condition of people especially those hailing from rural setup through education. This desire gradually grew into passion which motivated him to establish educational institutions.

 

Under this Trust he owns institutions namely Madha Engineering College, Madha Institute of Management Studies, Madha Institute of Computer Applications, Madha College of Nursing , Madha College of Physiotherapy, Madha Teacher Training Institute, Madha Matriculation School, Madha College of Education and Madha Dental College and Hospital, Madha Matriculation School. All the above Institutions are duly approved by government at state, central as well as by its affiliating bodies.

 

Dr. S. Peter is also the Founder and Secretary of Loordhu Ammal Educational Trust, a Christian Minority Trust which is named after his mother.Dr. S. Peter, with the strong vision of providing quality education in various streams, operates a few educational Institutions under Loordhu Ammal Educational Trust namely Our Lady College of Education, Madha Arts & Science College, Madha Institute of Engineering and Technology ,Our Lady Matriculation School and, Madha Public School [CBSE]. Madha Medical College & Hospital, located at Kovoor achieved one among the top five positions in Tamilnadu with respect to results.

 

Madha Medical College is the first self-financing medical and research institute under the Christian minority category in Tamil Nadu. The Founder and Chairman of the above Charitable Trusts, Dr. S. Peter has provided scholarships and fee relaxation to the deserving and needy students. He shows immense interest towards educating the girl child and it is obvious by the way of preference extended to the girl candidates in his institutions. This ultimately proves his service towards women empowerment at large through education.

 

Madha Hospital with its multi-specialty units and a team of highly dedicated and committed doctors in different area of expertise renders remarkable service at Thandalam, Near Kovoor. The entire team reaches the people in and around the area towards creating awareness on healthy and hygienic way of living. Also they have conducted several camps for the people in nearby villages with the aid of the Founder and Chairman of Loordhu Ammal Trust.

 

Under the aegis of the Founder and Chairman, the Madha Hospital provides free treatment and medication for the poor people. In order to facilitate the people, hospital is operated 24/7 with its full-fledged facility and trained nurses along with a team of doctors. The Madha hospital is attached with all sorts of facility namely X-ray unit, Scan Centre, Diagnosis lab etc which enables the people to avail all the facility under one roof.
