The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 1998 with the vision of developing the department as a Centre of Excellence in R&D, in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and make the students blossom into meritorious and self-disciplined engineers by hard work

 

Our mission is to develop innovative and simple instructional material to drive the concepts into the minds of students and infuse scientific temper in the students and guide them towards research in communication engineering.Also to grow a committed group of competent teachers striving for excellence, be it in teaching or research and to develop Collaborative Research and Development linkages with leading organizations in India and abroad.

 

The Department has been accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation) in the year 2008 and well-equipped with the state-of-art laboratories.

 

The Department is also ISO9001 certified. The department consistently produces University ranks in University Examinations.

 

The Department has been moving forward in achieving academic excellence with a strong commitment and dedicated approach, by clearly setting up of a vision of its own. The initiatives taken have already started yielding excellent results, in terms of research funding and other developmental activities thus keeping us in the path of excellence.

 

The First year Core Curriculum begins with a common knowledge base and customizes Students by grounding in basic Engineering Foundation and in Critical Hands-on Skills in Engineering Practices. The Course has access to enhance the Learning, Student Perspective and Experience to develop Specialization in areas of 'Electronics and Communication Engineering. Class room learning is complemented by practical in Hi-Tech Labs, Projects and Hands on Experiences, so as to foster Knowledge in Engineering and Technology.

 

The Department strives to develop long Term relationships with Industries and market the Student's Talents effectively. The Students are thus provided high level 'Leads and Pathways' that enable them to gain access to a broad range of 'high potential' and 'hi-tech' Career Opportunities. In a very short span of time since the Department was launched in our College, it has made a name for itself, among the Top few Colleges,at the University level, through Seminars, Symposia, Workshops,and Conferences and also through its performance in the Examinations and Placement.
