Department of Information Technology, since its inception in 1999, has been well recognized for producing efficient professionals with outstanding academic performance. Our aim is to provide quality education to the students and impart IT excellence in them. Apart from making them good technocrats, we also provide individual attention to make them good citizens of our nation to serve the industry and society constructively
The department is proud to have the team of dedicated and committed high profile faculty members. The department always strives to reach the latest technology and advancement in this field to the young learners as well as the aspirants by inviting the corporate legends and experienced academicians to enlighten the IT community of our Institution.
Teaching Learning Process
The teaching and learning process of our department is ISO9001 certified and also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation in the year 2007-08. The Department regularly organizes National level technical Conference NCRACIT to create platform for the exposure and sharing of the knowledge of the academicians, researchers, Industry professionals and learners of various colleges, the research institutions and industries. We encourage our faculties to attend the Faculty Development Programs sponsored by AICTE-ISTE and Anna University based on curriculum and the recent trends in IT industries. Periodic guest lectures and workshops are conducted for the students to supplement their curriculum. The Department has produced University Ranks in Anna University.
